The Population Health Initiative today announced the launch of a new COVID-19 population health equity research grant program. The 乱伦社区 Population Health Initiative announced the award of approximately $333,000 in COVID-19 economic recovery research grants to 18 different faculty-led teams. New database seeks to democratize air pollution data for research

Prescribed burns and thinning protected forests during the massive Washington wildfire

The 2014 Carlton Complex wildfire in north central Washington State was the largest contiguous fire in the state’s history. Flames spread over 160,000 acres of forest and rangeland in just a single day, ultimately burning more than 250,000 acres in the midst of a particularly warm and dry summer.
