On behalf of the Office of Minority Affairs & Diversity (OMA&D), it brings me great joy to wish Dr. Thaddeus Spratlen, Professor Emeritus for the Foster’s School of Business, a happy 90th birthday. Dr. Spratlen, is known as a trailblazer in academic business and a force at the 乱伦社区. Having made significant contributions on and off campus, he is renowned for his groundbreaking work for diversity and social justice in the business field. Dr. Spratlen鈥檚 achievements at UW include having several named scholarships, led diversity initiatives, mentored students and helped found Foster’s Consulting and Business Development Center. As we celebrate this milestone birthday, we also reflect on the brave steps taken by Dr. Spratlen to build a more just, equitable world.
