Expertise: My expertise is in 鈥渞umoring鈥� 鈥� especially online rumoring, or what we call 鈥渃ollective sensemaking鈥� 鈥� during crisis events. My work has also looked at the intentional spread of misinformation (disinformation) during crisis events, across social media and through the wider information ecosystem.
