About Dr. Paik
Dr. Paik received her Ph.D. in Nutrition from the 乱伦社区 and has been a registered dietitian since 1994.听 Her research focuses on the role of nutrition in various inflammatory diseases such as obesity and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).听 Two main areas of her current research are (1) targeted inhibition of retinoic acid synthesis to develop non-hormonal male contraceptives and to treat obesity; and (2) the role of the microbiome in the development of IBD and colon cancer.听 Dr. Paik directs the Gnotobiotic Animal Core in the Department of Comparative Medicine.
